I spent a full day at the office, and returned home to find T cooking dinner in the kitchen and making us a cocktail. Yay!!! It has been a long time since somebody cooked for me. I think tomorrow I will sit down and read a paper book to celebrate the Federal Holiday.

Yes, tomorrow I'll read my paper Sunday NYT, and then a book. Reading glasses for the win!

And I'll do a work period for a couple hours. And cook BA. And walk or run, depending on my energy level. And stretch! Monday, Bug.

Back in 2010 I purchased a book about the 2008 disaster on K2, which is the second-highest mountain on earth. Eleven people died, many others were seriously injured (and some of those who survived subsequently died while climbing other mountains). I finished this book pretty quickly -- it's a well-written account of a horrible set of events up on Mount Everest.
